By the
age 12 Ron had set up a dark room in his parent’s
garage to produce black and white photos from
his well used Brownie Hawkeye camera. He credits
National Geographic Magazine for creating
a life long interest in photography and wanderlust
for traveling to remote places. Being a professional
wood sculptor for over twenty years has given
him an eye for composition. Needing reference
material for his sculptures Ron has taken
thousands of pictures of wildlife with which
to carve from. He photographed his sculptures
in a studio setting for jury submission and
publication. The quality of his slides and
the building of his portfolio contributed
to his reputation as a wildlife sculptor and
photographer. Retired from sculpting, Ron
now enjoys capturing images and sharing them
with others.
Custom
Printing
In addition to his
own work, Ron does custom digital image processing
and printing for others. Using the best archival
papers and inks available he produces beautiful
prints that will last a lifetime.
Instruction
Ron uses Adobe Lightroom,
as well as Photoshop and Photoshop Elements
in his work and is available for instruction
for small groups and individuals.
